Agroecológica Marumbi is an organic cachaça producer based in Morretes, in the Paraná state of Brazil, about 73 km from Curitiba, at the foot of the Marumbi mountains. It makes two brands, Porto Morretes for the domestic market and Novo Fogo for export. The text says the cachaça tradition in Morretes dates back to around 1700 and that the town received a Geographic Indication for the spirit in 2023.
