Aqará is a Peruvian agave spirit brand produced at a distillery in the Andes, near Caraz, at about 2,256 metres above sea level. The company uses wild agaves growing in the mountains and replants three plants for every one harvested. The spirit is distilled from agave and is presented as distinct from tequila and mezcal.
