- No sales 22:00-06:00, within 100 m of schools or places of worship, or at motorways, petrol stations, hospitals and sports venues
- Advertising
- Advertising, sponsorship and sales promotion are banned; spirits face advertising restrictions
- Retail monopoly
- The state monopoly has ended; alcohol division privatised in 2004 as Mey Icki
